Mrs. Mello's 4th Grade

Last week,(11-10 through 11-14) was a really short one with a half day and no school for Veterans Day! We continued to work on Quadrilaterals in Math reviewing perimeter and area. We will continue with more practice on these plus more topics this week.
The 4th Grade Theater Project has started. We had our 3rd classroom visit on Monday afternoon (11/17). The children are really excited to share ideas about the setting, characters, and plot with both Kate and M.J. from the Vineyard Playhouse.
Our Filmstrip Book reports have just about been completed and we are in the process of sharing these with each other. Everyone did an excellent job and should be proud of their hard work.
It was great to meet with so many of you during Parent Teacher conferences! Have a great week!
