Welcome to K-4 Computer Classes

 AT LAST  . . . . . .. . . . . .

The students’ desktop published books are done.

Kindergartners made a class ABC Book and all shared in creating illustrations to go with every letter in the alphabet.

First Grade students put the information gleaned from their dinosaur research into book form.

Second graders created books depicting what they learned about the earth’s continents.

One Third Grade class created original fantasy stories.  The other class shared information learned about specific animals studied.

The Fourth Graders each researched a particular state and created a page with a word processed paragraph and a computer generated outline map.  Students illustrated the information presented in the paragraph and added that to their maps.

For the remainder of the year, Kindergarten through Second Grade classes will be using software which supports classroom learning.

Third Graders are being introduced to touch typing as well as using software which supports the classroom curriculum.

Fourth graders are reviewing touch typing and being introduced to data bases.

This site has a variety of activities to be done on-line as well as in the home. Many activities reinforce classroom learning while others are just for fun. There is a lot of advertising, however.

This is a great site for children in Kindergarten through Grade 4. It provides activities in learning, entertainment, and just for fun - all appropriate for children.
