Welcome to 8th grade Algebra! I am looking forward to a wonderful year with all of you. I have given all of you your user names and passwords for your on-line textbooks. Check it out and see all that this site has to offer. There are tutorials and step-by-step lessons. There are two types of calculators; graphing and scientific. It is a very helpful website and I hope you make use of it.
We will start with Chapter 1 on Monday. The Foundations of Algebra will include positive and negative numbers, square roots, powers and exponents, order of operations, simplification of expressions and an intro to functions. I'm looking forward to a fun year because math is fun!!
