In May 2010, Governor Patrick and the Massachusetts Legislature passed a new law that prohibits bullying. As part of this law, all schools in the Commonwealth were to create a bullying prevention plan by December 31, 2010. This school's plan was crafted by the School Advisory Council, approved by Supt. Weiss, shared with the School Committee and school's staff, then submitted to the Department of Education in December 2010. The plan is available for downloading below. I want to thank the members of the School Advisory Council for their work on this plan as I believe that it is comprehensive and will be a powerful tool in preventing bullying in our school and community. If you have any question about this plan, please do not hesitate to contact me.
