Athletics at the Edgartown School

All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students have the opportunity to participate in competitive athletics.  It is a great time to do all 3 seasons and check out a sport that they have never tried before. Practices and games are held after school.  Students need an up-to-date physical and to complete a concussion packet (you can download one below) to participate. The sports offered include: track and field (fall and spring), football (fall), basketball (fall/winter), and volleyball (late winter/spring).

It’s time for volleyball!

Please see the schedule below. Athletes are expected to be at practice everyday, dressed and ready to participate. The school will provide transportation to the away games, however, families are responsible for picking up their athlete after the game. Athletes are also expected to be academically eligible.

Athletes interested in playing on the team need to have an up-to-date physical, a concussion form completed and returned to the nurse, and an eligibility form signed and returned to Mrs. McDonald.

Students must be academically eligible to participate in athletics. Please see the policy below.

Concussion Packet

It is required that concussion packet forms are completed in order to participate in sports at the Edgartown School.
