Remote Learning Requirements

Dear Edgartown School Families,

The following information was originally communicated to you in a letter from the Superintendent on December 4, 2020:

There are two reasons why a student may need to participate in a classroom remotely. The first is if the student is participating in cohort D – our fully remote program. These students will need to participate remotely on days where their classmates are in-person. The second group is students who are required to quarantine for 10 to 14 days due to a positive test or being identified as a close contact.
If a student is absent on the day that she/he is supposed to be present in-person, the student cannot be remote on that day. The student will be marked absent since she/he will not be physically present for in-person instruction.

Thank you for reminding your children to adhere to these requirements. We are looking forward to the second half of the school year!
Kind regards,
Shelley Einbinder, Ed.D.

Shelley Einbinder, Ed.D.
